Sandra , age 48, Bulldog mom, natural light photographer for over 10 years In addition to that she is also active in the automotive industry.
Born with dogs by her side and a camera in her hand, she made it a longlife passion to combine her love for dogs with Photography.
She is well known for her images of dogs in Classic Cars ,a project she started in 2015 and recently got rewarded for in U.S.
She loves capturing the dogs’ true inner selves, sometimes combined with children and create lifelasting memories for their owners and parents to cherish.
MEET THE HOST VALERIE EECKLOO
My name is Valerie Eeckloo and I am 38 years old. I live in the wonderful romantic city of Bruges in Belgium. Already as a child I loved all animals, especially pets.
My passion for photography started with my first dog, a bernese mountain dog called Shiva, about 10 years ago.
I wanted to create beautiful memories of her, so I could cherish her for eternity.
It took a lot of hard work, evening school, practice and workshops to figure out how a ‘real’ camera worked.
What became an incredible hobby, started as a side profession in 2017. Next to my fulltime job as a medical management assistant. Today I am the proud owner of my bernese mountaindog Nordin.
With my photography, I try to capture the personality and the emotions of a dog, because every dog is different and has its own way. Treating the animal with respect and having patience are keywords for me.
The path of a photographer is a magnificent journey without knowing where you will end. Every time you keep learning. Through my camera I try to express my love and my gratitude for animals which come into my life.
They are the most marvellous creatures who are honest and true, and always by your side.
